One crown hides behind one gateway. Every other gateway hides a beast. Creatures nearby will tell you where it is , but some of them lie. Read them, reason it out, and choose the true way. One fresh puzzle a day, at your level.
Hear the creatures
Tap a creature. It gives a little sound and a thought-bubble with what it claims ,
“The true way lies beyond the swirling archway,” or “The Heron is lying.” Tap it again to
dismiss the bubble. Bubbles stay put, so you can compare all of them.
Ask the Oracle for the law
Somewhere in the scene floats a small hooded Oracle with a glowing orb. Find it and
tap it , it tells you the law of the hall: how the truth-tellers and liars are bound.

No law at all. In the hardest halls the Oracle binds nothing ,
each creature is simply, always, a truth-teller or a liar, and you must work out which from what they say
about each other.
They speak of each other
Deeper in, a creature may not name a gateway at all, but vouch for , or accuse , another:
“The Fox speaks true,” “The Owl is lying,” or even “The Lion and the Owl are of different
kinds.” Settle who is honest first, then trust what the honest ones say about the gateways.
Step through
Choose a gateway and you step into the dark, not yet knowing your fate. Beyond it waits the
crown , or the beast. Then your result: solved or deceived, your time,
your hints , and your rating moves.
Levels & the ladder
Rise from Novice to Squire, Knight, Warden, Seer, Sage and Oracle. Higher
levels drop the law, let the creatures talk about each other, and hide more , until you must deduce everything
from pure logic. Solve puzzles and your rating climbs. The ladder crowns the most logical mind on the
planet.
